Stand Up Paddleboards
The Flying “H” logo is global shorthand for ease and performance on the water. As you’d probably guess, that sort of international reputation didn’t happen overnight. Like all good tales, the history of Hobie Alter started with a dream. In the 1940’s, Hobie saw the bluff-lined coves of Laguna Beach as a setting for adventure.
In the space of a decade – thanks to his introduction of the foam surfboard blank – his boards became the favoured equipment for everybody from local heroes to world champions. Today, Hobie surfboards are found at retailers around the globe and under the feet of some of the world’s best surfers.
In the 1960’s Hobie changed the face of sailing with the introduction of the Hobie 14 catamaran and the Hobie 16 appeared quickly thereafter and became the world’s largest selling catamaran.
Hobie has produced a veritable flotilla of innovative fi shing and recreational kayaks. Hobie’s reach has grown in leaps and bounds with
skateboards, polarised sunglasses and apparel… all built around fun in, on and near the water.
And now Hobie has entered a new era on your piece of water. Get ready for PURE SUP FUN.
If you are an extreme surfer, distance racer or a casual expedition paddler, we have the equipment to meet your needs.
